A vinyl re-release of Isis‘ 1999 EP “The Red Sea” will meet an October 19th release through Hydra Head on a variety of colored vinyl options. In addition to a standard black pressing there will also be clear, opaque red and red/black marble pressings.
The effort will also include the bonus demo tracks found on the past CD edition of the release, though not the Japanese edition cover of Black Sabbath‘s “Hand Of Doom“. You can pre-order that EP in your color of choice now at this location.
Though the band broke up close to a decade ago, they will be getting back together onstage for a special live performance at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, CA on October 13th. There the band will take to the stage under the name of Celestial (their previous moniker has of course unfortunately been associated with a terrorist group) and will be playing a special benefit show for late Cave In, Old Man Gloom, etc. bassist Caleb Scofield.
