VIMIC, ex-Slipknot, etc. drummer Joey Jordison will no longer be sitting in on Ministry‘s spring tour, which commences tonight (March 22nd) in Anaheim, CA. Instead, Derek Abrams will once again be behind the kit, he commented yesterday:
“I’m super excited to get back out on the road with Ministry for the 2018 North America tour that kicks off tomorrow in Anaheim. I can’t express enough gratitude to the band and crew to be able to be a part of this family. I look forward to seeing you at a show. If we don’t hit your city this time, there is a chance we will in the fall.”
Jordison nor the band appear to have commented on why he will no longer be joining them. Notably, Fear Factory vocalist Burton C. Bell is also set to join the band for the tour, dates for which run as follows:
