Live recordings from the defunct ‘Dynamo Open Air‘ festival which ran from 1986-2005 in the Netherlands will begin emerging this June. First up are shows performed by Pantera and Soulfly back in 1998. The festival’s organizers recorded over 300 shows during its run with Caroline/Universal now onboard to distribute the releases, each of which will be put out under the ‘Dynamo Concerts‘ banner.
While some shows will be made available on CD, vinyl and digital formats, select shows were also filmed and will arrive on DVD. Notably some of the performances are previously unreleased and in some cases even unheard outside the time they took place.
June 22nd will see the arrival of the first two sets, they include:
