The next release from Melvins‘ has been revealed to be a double album and will surface on July 07th through Ipecac Recordings. Titled “A Walk With Love And Death“, it finds the band (Buzz Osborne, Dale Crover and Steve McDonald) delivering a new album titled “Death“. Also featured is “Love“—the score to an upcoming short film from Jesse Nieminen also titled “A Walk With Love And Death“. Guest appearances are planned for the albums, including:
Joey Santiago (The Pixies)

The band self produced the recordings alongside their longtime partner in crime, Toshi Kasai, who handled the engineering duties. All three things: the album, the soundtrack and the film are benchmarks for us.” Drummer Dale Crover added: “‘A Walk With Love and Death‘ is one giant, dark, moody, psychotic head trip!
