Bad Brains frontman H.R. hopes to return to the stage with the band for a tour later in the year. Just weeks prior to his recent brain surgery, he told Loudwire:
“I was talking with the bass player [Darryl Jenifer] and we were looking at the fall, in autumn, maybe. We’ll do some rehearsals, rehearsing a setlist that they had wanted to play and I decided to go ahead and play it with them. Darryl had come to me through the telephone and said, ‘I’m committed to you,’ and I said, ‘Well, I’m committed to you.'”
H.R.‘s expected 8-week recovery isn’t the only hurdle the band are facing however as guitarist Dr. Know continues to recover from a serious cardiac arrest he suffered back in late 2015.
