Metallica continue to cement themselves as metal’s feel good heroes with their recent deeds. You may recall that earlier in the year, the band’s legal team accidentally fired off a cease and desist to a Canadian tribute band called Sandman due to logo similarities. When Metallica themselves caught wind of the news, they annulled said legal squabble and let the band license their logo for a $1.
Now nearly a year later, the band hung out with Sandman during their recent show in Toronto, ON and shared the below snap of their time together. When you add that to the generosity a Toronto area food bank received as a result of that same show, it’s a safe bet the band are pretty much stockpiling good karma at this point.
