Volumes guitarist Diego Farrias took home two Latin Grammy Awards this week for his production work with the late Juan Gabriel. Farias helped engineer Gabriel‘s album, “Los Dúo 2“, which took home ‘album of the year.’ The album also won best ‘traditional pop vocal album’. Interestingly, Diego‘s father Gustavo Farias was also involved in the production side of the effort.
Volumes themselves have a new album titled “Different Animals” due out in February. It will be their first full-length release with ex-Bury Your Dead frontman Myke Terry on vocals.
