Taproot Once Had Their Own Welcome Mats Made To Promote Their "Welcome" Album

In a rather clever bit of marketing that few outside of the music industry likely ever saw, Atlantic Records once printed up a number of Taproot welcome mats to promote the band’s 2002 album, “Welcome“. The mats were shipped off to various radio stations, no doubt hoping to drum up support for the album’s single. “Poem“. Drummer Jarrod Montague shared the below pic of one such mat. Lately the band have been working on a b-sides & rarities collection titled “Besides“.
