An Instagram post made by I See Stars vocalist Devin Oliver has sparked off rumors that he has landed a role in the upcoming seventh season of ‘Game Of Thrones‘. Be warned, things get kind of spoilery from here on in as fans have begun to speculate that he’ll be playing Rhaegar Targaryen—which if you saw last season, will realize is a very key plot point. Time.com picked up on the story, while Altpress.com got the following comment from Oliver:
“I can’t comment much on it. But I will say I’m absolutely thrilled that the GOT community is so hyped on it. I can honestly say that nothing would be cooler than to [be] a part of the Targaryan family.”
With the TV series’ co-creator D.B. Weiss being a metalhead, it wouldn’t be too surprising of a turn as Oliver certainly wouldn’t be the first member of a band to have appeared in the show.
