Havok frontman David Sanchez went public yesterday with word that a contract dispute with their now former management company, Mustaine Management, led to their dismissal from an upcoming run with Megadeth, Amon Amarth, Suicidal Tendencies and more. Megadeth vocalist/guitarist Dave Mustaine vehemently objected to the band’s telling of events, claiming they had failed to properly pay his son Justis, who runs Mustaine Management, for his services. He also stated that the band had over five months to sign what he described as an “industry standard contract” for management services. Justis himself has since spoken of the matter, issuing the below statement:
