Marilyn Manson has been having an interesting few weeks, including notably appearing to have been partying a bit too hard during his acceptance of the ‘Icon Award‘ at the recent ‘Alternative Press Music Awards‘ in Columbus, OH. He also recently cancelled his July 21st live appearance in Quebec City due to illness. Below you can watch him launch into some odd stage banter during the band’s July 10th live show in Hershey, PA, at which he offered:
“I don’t talk about [guitarist] Tyler Bates a lot, but I don’t know if guys know that he was a drug trafficker in my mind, because schizophrenia is like fun. It’s like an orgy, but by yourself, and human trafficking is a bitch. And I had a really pretty coat that I was going to put on my pretty, pretty shirt…”
Manson then launched into a woozy rendition of “The Dope Show“, concluding the song by stating:
“I don’t want to fall onto my dick with that cord… so can you fix it, please? And don’t give me that uppity look, because you’re not black.”
Manson is currently out on the road with Slipknot and Of Mice & Men, with dates available here.
