Breaking Benjamin‘s 2009 release, “Dear Agony“, has been certified platinum by the RIAA in the United States. The album is one of the latest to benefit from the inclusion of album streams into the sales classifications. It was officially certified this past Monday, July 11th. Prior to a decision earlier this year, platinum status was attained via 1,000,000 sales. The aforementioned changes instituted now see 1,500 plays on various accredited streaming music services equating to one album sold, alongside actual album sales. Currently the band are out on the road with Disturbed, Alter Bridge and Saint Asonia. This tour with Korn, Motionless In White and Silver Snakes will follow.
