TMZ have obtained a copy of the search warrant used to enter the tour bus of late Stone Temple Pilots/Velvet Revolver frontman Scott Weiland. In addition to cocaine—which bassist Tommy Blackwas arrested for—numerous other drugs were found; according to the site:
“a generic version of Xanax, 2 different brands of sleeping pills, Buprenorphine … a synthetic opiate painkiller, and Viagra. There was also Ziprasidone … which is used to treat bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. Scott was diagnosed as bipolar in 2001.”
They also mention a bag of a “green, leafy substance” being found on the bus as well, with most of the aforementioned medications being located in a bedroom of the tour bus. They do not specify whose bedroom it was however. Weiland was found dead in a bedroom of that bus in Bloomington, MN last Thursday, December 03rd. His initial cause of death was revealed to be cardiac arrest with his toxicology reports expected in around two months time.
