‘Metalocalypse‘ mastermind Brendon Small is championing a fan movement to get a finale to the ‘Metalocalypse‘ animated TV series made. That movement has been christened Metalocalypse Now. Through the fan-petition campaign, Small hopes to drum up enough support to wrap up the series with a finale via streaming service, Hulu. Small commented:
“Metalocalypse, to this day, has a ridiculously strong viewership. The show has become a part of the metal community and we want to give the fans an opportunity to demand what is rightfully theirs!”
The series itself is presumed to have been cancelled, having last aired with the ‘Metalocalypse: The Doomstar Requiem‘ special back in 2013.
