The personal recordings of late Nirvana frontman/guitarist Kurt Cobain will arrive as an album on November 13th. The set will arrive alongside the home release of “Kurt Cobain: Montage Of Heck“—a documentary of Cobain put together by Brett Morgen. UMe will be releasing the companion album, titled “Montage Of Heck: The Home Recordings“. It will consist of various songs, demos, snippets and more.
Both a standard edition comprised of thirteen songs and a 31-track deluxe edition will be made available. A vinyl pressing will follow on December 04th, as will a 7” featuring a cover of “And I Love Her” by the The Beatles. The film itself will be released on November 13th and a super deluxe edition featuring the Blu-ray/DVD and deluxe edition of the album is also planned, complete with various extras, a book and more.
