Viral drummer El Estepario Siberiano (The Cost, Residente), renowned for his speed and chops, got in the hot seat at Drumeo for the latest episode of the ‘For The First Time’ series. As it goes with that series, musicians are introduced to a song they are unfamiliar with via a version that has had the percussion removed. Given that blank slate, they are then challenged to create their own drum parts for the track.
While Siberiano went on to correctly guess songs from Pearl Jam, Sum 41, Kendrick Lamar and Marilyn Manson, it was Nine Inch Nails‘ 2005 single “The Hand That Feeds” that stumped him. You can watch his respective take on that track below.
