The Violent Hour‘s “Already Dead” music video has come to life. The group, who are spearheaded by ex-Butcher Babies vocalist Carla Harvey and her husband Charlie Benante (Anthrax, Pantera), worked with director Vicente Cordero (Cradle Of Filth, Fear Factory) on this new clip.
Harvey drafted up the treatment for the video, with the song described as being, ‘a resurrection story about hitting a point where there’s nowhere left to fall and realizing that means the only way to go is up. If you’re already dead, why not get back up, grab your guitar and throw a party? You can’t kill what’s already dead.’
The video wasn’t a stretch for Harvey, as she’s had a past working in mortuary science and funeral direction, among other end of life-related ventures.
