Void Sector Zero‘s debut single “Vortex Divinum” is now streaming. Jesus Hernandez filmed and directed the below music video launched alongside it. That fledgling tech thrash trio boasts an impressive roster that consists of guitarist Christian Muenzner (Necrophagist, ex-Obscura, ex-Alkaloid), vocalist and bassist Alex Weber (Revocation, Malignancy, Exist), and drummer Gabe Seeber (Decrepit Birth, Abigail Williams). The band have already locked in a deal with Season Of Mist and will have their debut album “Dead Space Enigma” out on December 11th.
Muenzner said of this lead track from it:
“This song was inspired by Bob Lazar’s story about Element 1-15, the element that he says was used to fuel the anti-gravity propulsion system of the alien space craft that he was working on. Musically, the song has a very proggy and neoclassical twist with traces of ‘70s prog and jazz fusion”.
Weber said of the album:
“‘Dead Space Enigma‘ was a real blast to work on. Chris wrote a very demanding set of tunes that really pushed my bass and vocal techniques to new levels. To date, I feel like this album has the best recorded bass tone that I’ve ever gotten. It also led me to try new things with my voice that I didn’t know I could do. I can’t wait for everyone to hear it!”
