Lustmord Lombardo, the pairing between acclaimed percussionist Dave Lombardo (Mr. Bungle, ex-Slayer, etc.) and Welsh industrial/ambient pioneer Lustmord, have launched their new track “The Desolate Shore Part I: Submergence“. That duo have a debut album titled “The Pulse Of Atoms” in line for an October 02nd release via Ipecac Recordings.
For now, Lombardo went on to share his own interpretation of this track, offering:
“‘The Desolate Shore‘ is a meditative landscape that feels like a slow descent into the abyss. There is a sense of the ground moving beneath you as shifting rhythms make it feel like nothing is ever completely still beneath the surface.”
