Californian deathcore vets Carnifex have confirmed the details for their new studio album, “More Than Misery“. That album will be the band’s first for Sumerian Records and their tenth studio outing overall. You can expect it out on November 06th.
Recording sessions took place with Whitechapel guitarist Zach Householder overseeing the production duties. Householder also produced Whitechapel‘s latest outing, “Hymns In Dissonance“. Jeff Dunne (Boundaries, Dark Divine) oversaw the mix.
A music video for the album’s title track has arrived and once again found the band utilizing the services of director Midvessel (Kaonashi, thrown). The band’s frontman Scott Ian Lewis said of it:
“‘More Than Misery‘ is about what happens when suffering becomes more than something you endure, it becomes what changes you. This is Carnifex at our most honest and unapologetically brutal.”
One guest appearance will grace this forthcoming new album, with Entheos vocalist Chaney Crabb set to appear on the track “The Process Of Pain“.
