A brand new album from The Number Twelve Looks Like You is on course for an October 16th release date via Equal Vision. The mathy post-hardcore band have set “Howls From The Holographic Heart” as the title to that new opus. That album’s closing track, “Joy Is A Weapon“, has been selected as the first single from it. The song boasts a guest appearance from members of Foxy Shazam, namely vocalist Eric Nally and horn player Alex Nauth.

The Number Twelve Looks Like You collectively stated, “Sometimes the most powerful act of rebellion isn’t fighting back, it’s finding joy any way possible and refusing to be broken.”

The Number Twelve Looks Like You‘s vocalist Jesse Korman co-directed the clip alongside Tom Haas, with Nally also assisting. Speaking of this first new studio album to emerge since 2019’s “Wild Gods“, Korman offered: “This is a very honest album. We don’t want to live up to what everyone just expects of us, and at this point in our career, we have nothing to lose.”

The band’s own guitarist/keyboardist/vocalist Alexis Paredja co-produced “Howls From The Holographic Heart” alongside Jeremy Cormitas (Senses Fail, Chiodos) and Trae Titus.
