With frontman Brody King having received a substantial push in AEW amid his professional wrestling day job over the past year, God’s Hate went on hiatus in July 2025. That decision came about following the band’s set at the 2025 ‘Sound And Fury‘ festival.
As it so happens, the band reunited onstage for a surprise set during yesterday’s (August 16th) closing stop of this year’s ‘Sound And Fury‘. The band took the stage shortly after Twitching Tongues performance, with fan-filmed footage available below. You can watch God’s Hate‘s set begin around 14 minutes into the below video.
This live return directly precedes a new three-song release from the band titled “Won’t Be Disgraced“, which is set to arrive online on August 18th via Closed Casket Activities. It will feature the title track, plus “I Am The Cure” and “Warriors Will Reign“. The latter being a Harm’s Way cover and will feature guest vocals from Karl Buechner (Earth Crisis), Ray Cappo (Youth Of Today/Shelter), Harm’s Way‘s own James Pligge and more, presumably in tribute to late Harm’s Way guitarist Bo Lueders.
