Progressive metalcore band vianova have been forced to to forego their immediate planned live appearances in Europe and the UK. The cancelations and postponement have come about due to their vocalist Alexander Kerski needing more time to recover from a recent surgery. Kerski recently went under the knife for a cyst that developed in his sinus, and the recovery process is taking a bit longer than he initially expected.
Kerski explained the situation in the below gallery of videos. A written statement from the group further offered:
“UK fans — unfortunately, due to doctor’s orders relating to ongoing recovery from surgery, we have had to make the difficult decision to pull out of RADAR Festival this weekend, alongside our shows with Protest The Hero in Glasgow and Utrecht.
For ticketholders for our London show, we have managed to reschedule to Thursday 26th November; all tickets will remain valid for the new date, however if you are to attend then please get in touch with the ticket agent you purchased from for details on obtaining a refund.
Additionally, LUNA KILLS and Scatter The Tribe who were lined up to support us will still be performing at New Cross Inn this Saturday, with all original tickets also allowing access to the show.”
