Veteran Swedish black metal band Marduk have commented on the recent passing of their former bassist Roger “B. War” Svensson. The latter performed with the group from 1992 through to 2004. In a statement issued yesterday, July 04th, Marduk said of his passing:

It is with the deepest regret that we announce the passing of our former bass player, friend and comrade, Roger “Bogge” Svensson (1965–2026), better known as B. War… The memories remain.
