Oceans Ate Alaska drummer Chris Turner‘s trip to Drumeo is highlighted in a newly shared video. Turner took part in the regular ‘For The First Time’ series during his time at the studio. He was challenged with coming up with his own drum parts to the 1975 Paul Simon hit “50 Ways To Leave Your Lover“. The catch here of course being that Turner was not familiar with the track prior, and was introduced to it via a version that had the percussion removed.
