Quicksand have a target in sight with their latest single, “Cool Guy“. The NYC post-hardcore greats likened this song to a hardcore diss track of old, offering:
“‘Cool Guy‘ is like an OG HC diss track. Like ‘Small Man, Big Mouth’ by Minor Threat or ‘Hypocrite’ by Negative Approach. Sometimes you just gotta get those negative emotions out.”
This new track is once again accompanied by a music video, with Jesse Korman of The Number Twelve Looks Like You fame serving as the director. It’s also the latest in a string of singles that are leading into the upcoming July 17th release of the band’s new studio album “Bring On The Psychics“.
A North American headlining tour supporting that record with Bane and Soul Blind will be launching later in the year, see below for dates.
