Ameonna are preparing to hit the stage for the first time. That group, whose lineup boasts a trio of ex-Chelsea Grin members, have thus far existed as a studio project. While new material is also in the works, the band have confirmed on social media that their live debut is as well. Speaking yesterday, June 05th, on social media, the group stated:
“Ameonna is a new metal band born from the legacy of deathcore mainstays Chelsea Grin, uniting vocalist Alex Koehler, guitarist/bassist Jacob Harmond, and drummer Pablo Viveros. Named after the Japanese rain spirit-‘beautiful and ominous in equal measure’-Ameonna embodies that same balance, pairing crushing heaviness with raw, unflinching honesty across releases like Goddess Wept, Goddess Reign and The Birth of Death. Now the trio brings that vision to the stage for the first time, marking the live debut of one of heavy music’s most anticipated reunions.”
