Metallica have released a rough cut edit of their 1998 Wayne Isham-directed (Avenged Sevenfold, Nickelback) music video for their track “Fuel“. This early take on that clip featured hot rod b-roll footage that didn’t make into the final cut. The video is one of the many bonus features included on the band’s forthcoming “ReLoad” box set.
That newly remastered deluxe edition of “ReLoad” is scheduled for a June 26th release date with over a dozen CDs worth of music and more included. While “Reload” and it’s predecessor “Load” remain divisive entries in the Metallica catalog, “Fuel” has earned a frequent place in the band’s live shows, becoming their eighth most streamed song to date. Metallica frontman James Hetfield is also a noted car collector who has hosted exhibitions of his staggering collection in the past.
