Gold-certified alternative metal band Sevendust and multi-platinum radio rockers Theory Of A Deadman will be co-headlining ‘The Dead / Seven Tour‘ this summer/fall. That U.S. trek is described as being over two decades in the making and will see grunge rockers Return To Dust opening. Theory Of A Deadman vocalist/guitarist Tyler Connolly had the following to say about this bill:
“We are beyond pumped to hit the road with one of the most beloved rock bands and friends Sevendust. Playing shows with them going back to 2002 man this tour is gonna crush! Cannot wait to play some new tracks and some old ones too. Excited for rockers Return to Dust to join us as well.”
Sevendust vocalist Lajon Witherspoon went on to add:
“Man, hearing Tyler say that takes me back. We’ve been throwing down together for a long time, and it’s always been nothing but love and high energy. Theory of a Deadman always brings it, so we already know this tour is going to be something special. We’re beyond excited to get out there, share the stage again, and give the fans moments you can’t recreate anywhere else. Our friends in Return to Dust will be there too. Much respect to those guys, and we’re ready to crush this thing together.”
Artist presales for this upcoming tour will begin tomorrow, May 06th at 10:00am local time. A promoter presale has been booked to launch this Thursday, May 07th at 10:00am local, while the general onsale will be live this Friday, May 08th at 10:00am local time.
Sevendust just released their fifteenth studio album, “ONE“, last week, while Theory Of A Deadman dropped a new single titled “Barricade” late last month. This past April also saw Return To Dust release a cover of the Outkast hit “Hey Ya!“.
