Loathe have been announced as the opening act for a pair of shows from Interpol this summer. This August the British alternative metal faction will join up with the aforementioned gold-certified NYC indie rockers for the following two Pacific Northwest concerts:
08/06 Portland, OR – McMenamins Edgefield
08/08 Tacoma, WA – Dune Peninsula
Tickets for those dates will be available next Friday, May 08th at 10:00am PST. In other news, Loathe have also been added to the June 27th date of this year’s ‘Outbreak‘ festival, which is to be held at the B.E.C. Arena in Manchester, UK. Alexisonfire will be headlining that date with a performance of their album “Crisis” and more. Loathe‘s addition was announced this week as part of a new wave of bands for the fest that also included I Promised The World, Joyce Manor and more.
It’s been a flurry of activity for Loathe this week, with the band having announced their new album “A Stranger To You” alongside the debut of a new single “Revenant“. They followed that up with the reveal of this North American tour alongside Fleshwater & Prostitute.
