Fledgling metallic hardcore outfit KILL CHAIN have launched their debut single “Never Been Yours“. Featuring members of Comeback Kid, A Mourning Star and more, that collective will be releasing their three-song demo on May 05th. The group’s roster consists of:

Guitars: Christian Frizzelle (A Mourning Star, Bayonet Dismemberment)
Bass: Ravi Bhatti (A Mourning Star, Juice)
Drums: Nathan Pope (Bayonet Dismemberment)
Yates told Revolver of the origins of this project:
“I picked the guitar for the first time two years ago after wanting to play forever. I started playing every day, learning songs and eventually writing my own riffs. I ended up showing Christian and Andrew what I had written, and to my surprise they both wanted to start a band. I thought they were joking at first, but here we are!”
Recording sessions for this new song took place with producer Andre Urquidi. As for what inspired this track lyrically, Neufeld offered:
“‘Never Been Yours‘ is about an underdog chasing validation and self-worth in a selfish world. From the highest highs to the lowest lows, nothing was enough, they could never really make it, resulting in a hard-done by mentality, thinking the world was against them. In reality the world isn’t against you, it’s just indifferent.”
You can expect to find this song streaming on leading digital service providers starting tomorrow, April 28th.
