Demand for the return of thrash metal legends Slayer to Los Angeles, CA has seen a second show added. Earlier this week, the band announced a pair of 40th anniversary shows celebrating their landmark third studio album “Reign In Blood“. That record is hailed by many as the group’s magnum opus. The initial Los Angeles show promptly sold out, with an additional stop in the city having now been added. This new date will take place November 14th at the Kia Forum and will once again find the storied outfit performing the record in its entirety.
Tickets for this additional stop will go on sale tomorrow, April 23rd, with the code ‘RIB2026’ at 09:00am PST. The general onsale will follow a day later on April 24th at 10:00am PST. These Forum shows somewhat ironically mark a return to where it all ended, as that venue also hosted Slayer‘s original farewell shows back in November of 2019.
While those dates appeared to spell the end for the group at the time, they would go on to reunite in 2024, playing a string of shows in the time since. As it stands at the moment, Slayer‘s schedule this year runs as follows:
09/04 Shakopee, MN – Mystic Lake Amphitheater (“Reign In Blood” 40th anniversary) (feat. Down, Suicidal Tendencies & Hatebreed)
09/06 Pryor, OK – Rocklahoma
10/24 Fort Worth, TX – Sick New World
11/13 Los Angeles, CA – Kia Forum (“Reign In Blood” 40th anniversary) (feat. Cannibal Corpse, Cavalera performing “Chaos A.D.“, and Crowbar)
11/14 Los Angeles, CA – Kia Forum (“Reign In Blood” 40th anniversary)
Opening artists for this additional Los Angeles, CA show have yet to be confirmed as of press time.
