If you’re curious for a proper look as to what’s included with the upcoming 40th anniversary box set of Slayer‘s 1985 sophomore album “Hell Awaits“, a new unboxing video for it has just gone up online. Metal Blade Records have been overseeing this celebratory reissue, which features a previously unreleased June 18th, 1985 live set recorded at Zeche in Bochum, Germany.
Other bonus items featured include a 60-page book posters, flyers, various replica prints and more. A May 15th release date has been slated for that reissue, which will also arrive in several different formats. Guitarist Kerry King has previously described the record as being, “the record were Slayer became Slayer.”
