The Acacia Strain will be bringing out decades of their brand of wrenching deathcore out on the road this spring/summer on the ‘You Are Safe The Dead Walk Here Tour‘. That trek will see the band shining a light on their third studio album, the Adam Dutkiewicz-produced (Killswitch Engage) “The Dead Walk“. Don’t expect full album performances however, as they’ll also promoting their latest release, “You Are Safe From God Here“.
Mathcore outfit The Callous Daoboys have bagged the direct support slot on this run, with metalcore group fromjoy and Denver, CO metallic hardcore band Mask set to open. In an all-caps statement, The Acacia Strain vocalist Vincent Bennett said of this trek:
“THE DEAD WALK IS 20. YOU ARE SAFE FROM GOD HERE ISN’T EVEN A YEAR OLD YET. NO WAY WE ARE PLAYING EVERY SONG OFF A 20-YEAR-OLD RECORD WHEN WE JUST CAME OUT WITH A NEW ONE.
