Californian post-hardcore band Saosin are back to commence a new era with their brand new single “Starting Over Again“. That song is the gold-certified band’s first new output in years and arrives via their latest label home of Sumerian Records.. The group welcomed back vocalist Cove Reber into the fold back in 2024, with his last album fronting the band, “In Search Of Solid Ground“, having seen a release back in 2009.
This song doesn’t only marks the full-fledged return of Reber however, as it’s also the band’s first new recorded output with guitarist Phil Sgrosso (ex-As I Lay Dying, etc.), who joined their ranks back in 2016. “‘Starting Over Again‘ is our first new music in over a decade, and it came from the fans calling for it and us realizing the timing finally felt right. The chemistry in this lineup is undeniable, and everything just clicked. This song is exactly what the title says. A reset, but with more clarity, more urgency, and way more fire behind it. It feels like the start of something big for us, not a throwback, but a step forward.”
