Heavy metal’s reigning kings in Metallica have newly added a pair of fall shows to their 2026 slate. The diamond-certified thrash metal legends have just been booked for November 19th & 21st concerts at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT. Those dates are part of a promotion celebrating the 25th anniversary of that venue.
Metallica have confirmed that these two dates will feature separate setlists, falling under their no repeat weekend banner. With a venue capacity of 10,000, these dates are also considerablly intimate for the stadium-filling outfit.
Support will once again come from crossover legends Suicidal Tendencies. That outfit have longstanding ties with Metallica, including being the former outfit of Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo. His son Tye has since succeeded him in that role. Gold-certified alternative metal outfit Spiritbox have also got the call to open these shows, an opportunity the latter have referred to as being an honor.
Members of Metallica‘s fan club will be given first crack at tickets starting this Wednesday, April 08th at 10:00am EST / 07:00am PST. Single and two-day tickets will be going up this Friday, April 10th at 10:00 am EST / 07:00am PST.
The comparatively limited availbility of these shows follows Metallica causing fan uproar earlier this year, with their planned shows at the Sphere in Las Vegas, NV turning into a ticketing debacle.
