The time has come for Darko to pull back the veil on “Oni 2“. That progressive deathcore duo — a union between Chelsea Grin‘s vocalist Tom Barber and drummer Josh Miller — began tracking their indirect follow-up to their 2022 album “Oni” this past January. The group enlisted producer Jonathan Dolese (156/Silence, Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows) to oversee those sessions.
Today, April 04th, has seen the debut of a new track titled “Time Crisis“. Like the original “Oni” album, it would appear this next chapter will also come with some guest appearances, as Elijah Witt, vocalist of New Orleans-based alternative metal band Cane Hill, appears on this brand new track.
A visualizer for this new drum n’ bass-laced outing has just been shared, with Norbert Crowfield overseeing the visuals for it. Thus far release plans for “Oni 2” have yet to be disclosed.
