A Place To Kill, the long-gestating project that unites Filter vocalist/guitarist Richard Patrick with musician/director/photographer Jim Louvau (There Is No Us), have officially set a June 05th release date for their debut EP, “APTK”. That project has previously been described by Patrick as being, “super heavy, in-your-face industrial music for the apocalypse.”
Patrick himself has been outspoken in his political beliefs over the years, and this project will continue that trend. He’s previously been quoted as saying, “It’s all inspired by the recent political events of the United States and the craziness that’s going on…” Pre-saves for this new outing have been launched online via hypeddit.com/c2yvvd.
A Place To Kill‘s debut single “The Killing Field” first arrived back in 2023, landing as a b-side to a 7″ single for the Filter track “For The Beaten“. Further details regarding the effort have yet to be disclosed.
