Opeth's Mikael Åkerfeldt & Martín Méndez Look Back On 25 Years Of 'Blackwater Park" Via New Retrospective Interview

Opeth vocalist/guitarist Mikael Åkerfeldt and bassist Martín Méndez have partaken in a 25-minute interview looking back at the creation of their 2001 opus, “Blackwater Park“. Together the pair go in-depth on the creative process for that progressive metal effort, which marked their first collaboration with Steven Wilson of Porcupine Tree fame. Of course, it also doesn’t hurt that Opeth also recently launched a new 25th anniversary pressing of that very record late last month.
