Senses Fail have newly landed their third gold certification in the United States. The post-hardcore/emo band’s 2006 track “Calling All Cars” officially hit that milestone this past Thursday, March 19th. That track originally served as the lead single from the band’s 2006 sophomore album, “Still Searching“.
It’s actually the second track from that record to receive gold status following “Can’t Be Saved“, which itself was launched as the second single from that outing. “Can’t Be Saved” was certified gold back in May of 2022. The band’s first gold certification came about in March of 2020 for their 2004 debut album “Let It Enfold You“.
*A platinum album/single in the United States represents 1,000,000 units, while gold signifies 500,000 units. Outside of traditional physical/digital sales, the certifications factor in digital streams/downloads with 10 permanent track downloads counting as 1 unit and 1500 on-demand audio/video streams from a particular album also counting as as a unit. 150 streams of a song also equate to a track-equivalent unit.
