From Ashes To New have spoken out against their recent social media post promoting their upcoming album “Reflections” (due out April 17th) as being ‘made with AI’. X recently added that notation to the band’s below post, seemingly tagging it as such due to the inclusion of the cover art for that new record. Ironically, the group have taken to attempting to get the situation rectified by addressing the matter to X’s resident AI bot Grok.
Hey @grok remove the ai label from this post…this is not ai

Over the weekend, the gold-certified nü-metal band further pushed back against the automated assessment from X, stating:
“Hey @grok not cool to falsely call our album art AI. We paid an artist to create this art & stand by him, as he’s been creating incredible art for us long before AI was a tool people use. He uses photoshop to create detailed art and the last we checked photoshop isn’t AI”
