Big Ass Truck I.E. have hauled out their brand new single “Pushed Beyond The Brink“. The metalcore outfit drew inspiration for the song from the infamous 2005 ‘Killdozer’ incident in Granby, CO. Pushed to his limit amid various clashes with the city and other residents over zoning restrictions and other disputes associated with his muffler shop, Marvin John Heemeyer snapped.
This led him to constructed a heavily-armored custom bulldozer , which he used terrorize the town, demolishing numerous buildings and businesses in his wake before taking his own life.
“We’re super stoked for this track! This idea had been in the tank for a while and we were all very excited to finally bring it to fruition. The KILLDOZER is a legendary vehicle/event and I’d like to think we did it justice in showing how maniacal that whole situation was/is. We’re hoping this track can resonate with anyone else who feels life is just punching down on you everyday.”
