Drummer Jay Weinberg (ex-Slipknot/Suicidal Tendencies) has collaborated with a pair of former Roadrunner Records alumni in NOWHERE2RUN. The latter duo consist of Jami Morgan and Eric “Shade” Balderose of Code Orange. Weinberg oversaw the drums, guitars, bass and keyboards on this track from his burgeoning guest-filled solo project. Morgan took on the vocal duties, Shade assisted on guitar and vocals, while also adding programming and electronic elements.
Weinberg stated:
It was an honor to collaborate on this song with my brothers NOWHERE2RUN — two of the most creative people and dedicated artists I’ve ever known — as well as the inimitable Paul Romano.
This song is the second to meet a release from Weinberg‘s eponymous endeavor so far, following last November’s “Sandstone” with Deafheaven vocalist George Clarke.
