The lineup for the 2026 ‘Aftershock‘ festival in Sacramento, CA was newly unveiled today, March 04th. This year’s event will take place October 01st to 04th at Discovery Park in the aforementioned Californian capital. Anchoring this year’s lineup are headlining sets from emo rock royalty My Chemical Romance, nü-metal stars Limp Bizkit, multi-platinum post-hardcore band Pierce The Veil and alternative metal juggernauts Tool.
Danny Wimmer of the festival’s promoter DWP, stated of this year’s fest:
“This year’s Aftershock marks a bold new chapter for the festival. We’ve brought together metal, punk, emo, and nu-metal to create a lineup that’s raw, youthful, and unapologetic. With Tool anchoring the weekend and Pierce The Veil making their headlining debut, we’re breaking boundaries and redefining what Aftershock can be. And after years of fan requests, we’re finally introducing camping — giving fans the chance to fully immerse themselves in the weekend. This is a new era for Aftershock, and Sacramento is about to feel it.”
In addition to Friday night being surprisingly being stacked with veteran rap outfits Wu-Tang Clan, Public Enemy, Cypress Hill, Three 6 Mafia and Insane Clown Posse, some performances of note include:
- Another reunion set from Circa Survive
- Cavalera performing Sepultura‘s “Roots“
- Oleander reunion
- Rare From First To Last set
- Drowning Pool celebrating 25 years of “Sinner“.
- A reunion show from Ünloco.
Playing out across five stages, this year’s ‘Aftershock‘ boasts over 140 artists, with the following daily lineups booked.
