Texan crossover outfit Life Cycles have a new track titled “Fatal Path” up from their EP “No One Escapes Death“. A music video for this freshly debuted single is available below. As for the EP, that effort will be out March 27th on 1126 Records. Drummer Xavier Rios stated of where he and his bandmates wound up with this new six-song collection:

“This record is an expansion of our crossover sound with a focus on groove and detail in the riffs. We really wanted to display the journey we’ve been on as a band the last couple of years through this project. The energy is on 10 and we have a little bit of new flavor this time around.”

Vocalist Luis Lopez Jr meanwhile had the following to share about today’s new single:

“‘Fatal Path‘ is about the evil persuasive ways of lust. Letting it drag you to dark places, it tricks you into believing it’s more than just pleasure, ultimately pulling back the curtain and showing that it was all an illusion.”

A pair of guests have been secured for this new EP, including Trivium vocalist/guitarist Matt Heafy on “Soul In Chains” and Sylosis vocalist/guitarist Josh Middleton on “Hell Beneath“.
