Late heavy metal icon Ozzy Osbourne will be honored at this Saturday’s (February 28th) BRIT Awards. Pop star Robbie Williams is set to close out that awards show with a performance of the title track from Ozzy‘s 4x platinum 1991 hit “No More Tears“. The Prince Of Darkness’ widow Sharon has curated this upcoming performance, which will find Williams backed by a number of Ozzy‘s bandmates, including guitarist Zakk Wylde, bassist Robert Trujillo, drummer Tommy Clufetos and keyboardist Adam Wakeman.
Outside of that musical tribute, Osbourne will also be poshumously awarded the BRIT Awards‘ lifetime achievement award. Stacey Tang, co-president of RCA Records and chair of the BRIT Awards committee this year, stated:
“Ozzy Osbourne has been a mighty force in modern music. Possessing an unmistakable voice and unique presence, he reshaped the sound and spirit of rock, inspiring generations of artists who followed. This Lifetime Achievement Award recognises a remarkable legacy built on originality and enduring influence, that continues to connect with fans worldwide.”
A similar posthumous musical tribute to Ozzy was held at this year’s GRAMMY Awards. Ozzy passed away on July 22nd, 2025 from a heart attack, following a lengthy battle with illness.
Williams previously collaborated with Osbourne‘s Black Sabbath bandmate Tony Iommi.
