Kid Rock Teams With RFK Jr. For 'Rock Out Work Out' Video, Draws Criticism For $5,000 Front Row Tickets To His New Tour

Divisive rap rock/country star Kid Rock has furthered his ties with the current Trump administration, this time taking part in a new health-oriented initiative by the United States Secretary Of Health And Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr.. In the below video they’ve dubbed their ‘Rock Out Work Out‘, the pair can be seen hitting the gym together to the soundtrack of Kid Rock‘s late 90s hit “Bawitdaba“.

A long-time advocate and friend of U.S. President Donald J. Trump, Kid Rock has been active in recent efforts by the U.S. Government to enact legislation aimed at curbing ticket price gouging and rampant scalping. In September of 2025, the FTC filed suit against Live Nation & Ticketmaster, alleging the companies had been participating in, ‘deceptive pricing tactics and earned hundreds of millions selling tickets acquired illegally by brokers, costing consumers billions of dollars in inflated prices and additional fees.’

Rock stated on social media last October of that suit:

“What [Trump] did was he ordered the FTC & the Department of Justice to go investigate and see what the hell is going on with ticketing. Well, guess what? They investigated and what happened? They filed a f*cking lawsuit against Ticketmaster, because clearly they found out that those motherf*ckers are crooks, and they’ve been crooks for decades. F*cking over the public. F*cking over artists.”

Despite his pointed commentary above and his recent testimony in front of a Senate Commerce Committee over the matter, Rock has chosen to partner with Ticketmaster for his upcoming ‘Freedom 250 Tour‘. Addressing that arrangement last week, Rock offered the following bullet points as to how this arrangement was a step forward:

  • Kid Rock‘s Freedom 250 Tour is using Ticketmaster‘s Face Value Exchange to keep tickets in the hands of real fans — not scalpers.
  • Tickets can only be resold for the original price paid, including fees and taxes. No markups.
  • If you cant make the show, the only place to resell is on TicketmasterTicketmaster does not charge any fees to resell or to purchase resold tickets.
  • Ticket transfer is turned off in most places — that’s how we stop tickets from being flipped on other sites for profit.
  • If you’re bringing friends, you’ll enter the show together with your group.
  • Face Value Exchange makes sure every resale ticket is 100% legit and gets fans through the door.
  • If you buy on any other site, there is no guarantee you’ll get in the door – and most likely you won’t.
  • Some states, like Illinois, don’t allow artists like me to restrict resale, so transfer has to stay on — but Ticketmaster will still keep prices at face value on its site.
  • This isn’t perfect, but it’s a real step to shut down scalpers and protect fans. No extra cost to fans — same tickets, same prices, just fairer access.
  • Bottom line: buy tickets, go to the show, and if plans change, sell them the right way so another fan gets in.

However, Rock has since found himself facing criticism over certain aspects of this upcoming tour, as ticket prices across multiple venues for the front row of the trek currently sit at $5,000. The second row commands a $4,000 price tag, while prices diminish from there on. Below you can see the prices for the ‘first class’ seating options at the May 08th stop at the Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek in Raleigh, NC. As of press time, those same ticket prices appear to be in place for nearly all of the venues of the tour.
