Korn Have Been In The Studio Doing Mixing As Of Late

Just recently, Korn guitarist Brian “Head” Welch noted that getting a 15th studio album together from his aforementioned nü-metal pioneering band wasn’t currently a “priority.” While that news wasn’t received well by the band’s diehard fan community, it would seem work on at least some form of new Korn music has been taking place behind the scenes.

Chris Lord-Alge (Green Day, My Chemical Romance) posted a photo of himself in the studio yesterday, February 14th, with Korn guitarist James “Munky” Shaffer and producer Nick Raskulinecz (Deftones, Foo Fighters), whom Korn last worked with on their 2019 release “The Nothing“.

Lord-Alge was also forthcoming with the circumstances surrounding the photo, captioning it, “What a blast with Nick Raskulinecz and Munkey mixing Korn!! Heavy badass rock !!!”

Whether or not Welch was being secretive or this apparent new material is for another purpose remains to be seen. Either way, it seems Korn fans have something new to look forward to.
