Of Mice & Men have officially landed their first platinum single in the United States. “Second & Sebring“, the second single from their 2010 self-titled debut album, has newly hit that milestone. The RIAA handed down that certification on February 09th, with the track previously having gone gold back in March of 2021.
So far Of Mice & Men have notched up another gold single in the U.S. throughout their career., with “Would You Still Be There“, the third single from 2014’s “Rising Force“, going gold back in September of 2023.
*A platinum album/single in the United States represents 1,000,000 units, while gold signifies 500,000 units. Outside of traditional physical/digital sales, the certifications factor in digital streams/downloads with 10 permanent track downloads counting as 1 unit and 1500 on-demand audio/video streams from a particular album also counting as as a unit. 150 streams of a song also equate to a track-equivalent unit.
