A musical tribute was staged for the late heavy metal icon Ozzy Osbourne at today’s (February 01st) ‘GRAMMY Awards‘ ceremony at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, CA. That nod to fallen Prince Of Darkness found his widow Sharon Osbourne and his children Jack and Kelly moved to tears l in the audience.

The tribute took place during the annual in memoriam segment, which pays tribute to musicians and industry staff who passed away the year prior. Tragically, Ozzy passed away in July of 2025 from a heart attack following a lengthy battle with illness.

Taking to the stage in his honor tonight were a number of collaborators who worked with the pioneering musician across his final two albums. Rapper/singer/actor Post Malone fronted the tribute, having previously worked with Osbourne on two songs prior.

Also participating were Guns N’ Roses‘ guitarist Slash and bassist/vocalist Duff McKagan, as well as Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith. Producer/musician Andrew Watt, who spearheaded Osbourne‘s final two albums, was also part of this collective. Together they united for a rendition of the Black Sabbath staple “War Pigs“.
